Nader Ale Ebrahim currently is a “Research Visibility and Impact” freelancer consultant. He was working as a visiting research fellow with the Centre for Research Services, Institute of Management and Research Services (IPPP), University of Malaya 2013 to November 2017. Nader holds a PhD in Technology Management Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya. He has over 23 years of experience in the field of technology management and new product development in different companies. His current research interests are Open access, Research visibility, Research Tools, and Bibliometrics. Dr. Nader is responsible for the university's research promotion. He provides assistance and guidance for researchers in disseminating and promoting their research work in order to enhance their research visibility and impact, as well as citations. He believes that research cycle does not ends with publications alone, thus he encourages pro-activeness in dissemination of research output.
Nader developed a new method using the “Research Tools” which help researchers who seek to reduce the search time by expanding the knowledge of researchers to effectively use the "tools" that are available on the Internet. Research Tools consist of a hierarchical set of nodes. It has four main nodes: (1) Searching the literature, (2) Writing a paper, (3) Targeting suitable journals, and (4) Enhancing visibility and impact.
He was the winner of Refer-a-Colleague Competition and has received prizes renowned establishments such as Thomson Reuters. Nader is well-known as the creator of “Research Tools” Box and the developer of “Publication Marketing Tools”. He has so far conducted over 330 workshops within and outside of university of Malaya. His over 100 papers/articles have published and presented in the several journals and conferences.
